Are you ready to catch the “W.A.V.E.?”

Milagro Center’s new group – Women Advocating for Vibrant Education – is a women’s leadership circle created to recognize, engage and amplify the collective impact of women leaders who support the Milagro Center through their time, talent and treasure.

These women represent a diverse network of advocates, funders, volunteers and community partners who are deeply invested in the organization’s mission and long-term growth.

At its core, W.A.V.E. is about meaningful engagement – bringing women together not only to connect with one another, but to actively contribute to empowering youth and strengthening Milagro’s programs. The group blends leadership, service and community, offering opportunities that are purposeful rather than frivolous, while still fostering joy, creativity, and authentic relationships.

Through intentional programming, W.A.V.E. members will:

• Celebrate and elevate the women who make Milagro’s work possible
• Participate in leadership-driven gatherings that inspire connection and growth
• Engage in hands-on projects and volunteer initiatives with visible, lasting impact
• Support and empower Milagro’s students through shared action and advocacy

The initiative will be supported by thoughtful communications, including a dedicated quarterly newsletter highlighting women leaders, stories of impact and opportunities for involvement. Member feedback will shape activities to ensure the circle reflects the interests, strengths and passions of its participants.

W.A.V.E. launches with the intention of setting a strong, values-driven tone – one that honors leadership, encourages collaboration and channels collective energy toward vibrant education and brighter futures for the youth Milagro Center serves.
