S.T.A.R.S. – Standing Together Achieving Recognition and Success

As Milagro Center’s flagship program, STARS (Standing Together Achieving Recognition and Success) serves over 50 children grades K-5 on an annual basis through its year-round program. Nationally accredited through Council on Accreditation and Gold Seal approved by the Florida Department of Health, Milagro Center’s unique model of small class sizes allows the focus to be on the students by providing individualized attention and addressing specific needs as they arise. Each day, students are immersed in the cultural arts as well as receive literacy and math tutoring, homework assistance and on-site mentoring. It is also with the help of many community partners that Milagro students are able to have new experiences like learning to swim, mime or take a Zumba class.
