Performing arts take center stage at Milagro Center evening

Milagro Center is celebrating two decades of service to the community.

ARTrageous 20th Anniversary Party will take place April 21 at Delray Beach Golf Club, 2200 Highland Ave. Starting at 7 p.m., the evening will celebrate the art, dance and music programs integrated into Milagro Center.

Highlights will include professional dancers, musicians and spoken word artists along with heartfelt testimonials from past students and mentors. Awards will be presented to Milagro Center’s outstanding volunteers and supporters. The evening will also include live and silent auctions, an interactive cocktail hour and a full dinner program.

Milagro Center provides cultural arts, academic support, mentoring and non-sectarian living values to the community’s order premarin no prescription most at-risk children living at or below poverty level during after school and summer camps. In addition to programs involving the arts, the center offers literacy, math and homework classes.

“The support of the community is vital to ensuring the long-term success of a child who starts life at risk of educational and social failure,” said Barbara Stark, president and CEO of Milagro Center. “With the involvement of caring and committed individuals and local companies, the cycle of poverty and academic failure can be reversed.”
