The Milagro Center uses our well trained and expert staff, volunteers, mentors, experience and wisdom to extend cultural arts education and Living Values, (peace, love, responsibility, happiness, cooperation, honesty, humility, tolerance, simplicity, unity and integrity), to hundreds of children in South Florida. We also partner with other community organizations to enhance their services.

MOVING MIRACLES

In response to funding and program cuts to cultural arts programs and knowing the positive benefits achieved by these programs, The Milagro Center has created an ARTreach Program, Moving Miracles, that provides our specialized services to children being served by other organizations.

The Milagro Center is known for and sets the stage for endless opportunities for imagination by assisting and encouraging creativity. Creative minds will not only bear the fruit of a resourceful and productive individual, but will also, most importantly build self-esteem, which is an essential tool in the life of a growing child. When a child creates a work of art, they are not just creating that piece of art; they are also creating aspects of self-importance, individuality and engaging in self-expression. The arts mark a society's greatness and The Milagro Center is pro-actively filling the void and cultivating global citizens and artists of the future, today.

Working together as a community pooling our resources with others in our neighboring communities, we can more effectively and efficiently serve greater numbers of children and make a real difference in their lives. Using the well trained and expert staff, volunteers, and mentors in our outreach program, we extend our unique brand that is Milagro. We offer the combination of cultural arts education and “Living Values” curriculums to hundreds of children in our community.

By partnering with other organizations and bringing our programs to children that other agencies are already serving, not only do we enhance their services, but we are able to apply funding strictly to serving more children, rather than spending money on additional infrastructures such as more buildings and administrative costs. It’s a wonderful winning combination that ultimately brings joy and services to all of our clients, the children of our communities.

Our unique and highly effective programs include but are not limited to visual arts, literature, dance, drama, yoga, music, academic support and enrichment, and Living Values. Living Values is a curriculum adopted from the United Nations that encompasses 12 values (Love, Honesty, Peace, Respect, Simplicity, Tolerance, Responsibility, Humility, Happiness, Cooperation, Freedom and Unity) that are taught through lesson plans that explore each value, and all are incorporated into every aspect of the curriculum we offer, becoming an intricate key of creating empowered and global citizens.
